How can the forestry and timber industry make a maximum contribution to Switzerland's net zero targets?

One way is to promote timber construction. Sustainably managed and certified forests are the easiest way to remove CO2 from the air. In order to store CO2 in the long term, the wood from the forest must be transferred to large modern buildings, where it not only stores CO2 but can also replace carbon-intensive concrete and steel.

Risikohinweis

Prospektpflicht
