Together with our sister company Timbase<\/a>, we cordially invite our members, senior advisors and partners to discover the innovative residential building of the future with a timber basement in Thun.<\/p>\n

It is the first multifamily building in Switzerland with a timber basement. Additionally, it operates without a heating system. The tour provides an opportunity to experience this innovative construction project firsthand and gain insights into its technology. The current worldwide standard is to construct basements in the ground using reinforced concrete, which diminishes the significant CO2 advantage of timber buildings. A timber basement is another innovation promoted by Timber Finance to enhance sustainability in the real estate sector. The project is being carried out by our sister company Timbase, an innovative total contractor that is setting standards for the future of construction with a focus on environmentally friendly materials and innovative building concepts.<\/p>\n
