Enabling Mass Timber Carbon Removals<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Timber Carbon Solutions is a young climate tech venture at the forefront of the intersection between real estate, modern timber construction, and carbon removal, driving decarbonization in the construction sector. We develop and certify the climate and carbon storage performance of timber buildings through the world\u2019s first ICROA-compliant mass timber carbon removal credits. Our credits and services create a new, monetizable asset for the construction industry. To scale our carbon project development across hundreds of real estate projects worldwide – and to integrate it seamless into carbon registration processes, real estate valuations, and the future urban mining of timber construction elements – we are building an innovative IT platform. Chief Technology Officer (60-80%)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Your tasks:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u25aa Define, design and drive Timber Carbon\u2019s IT vision, technology strategy, SaaS development and
\nroadmap in line with business goals
\n\u25aa Benchmark existing SaaS market solutions and establish best practice across software development
\nwith IT partners
\n\u25aa Lead architectural decisions across platforms, data and cloud strategy
\n\u25aa Lead remote engineers and stakeholder to set standards for quality, testing and reviews
\n\u25aa Identify, manage, and mitigate risks to ensure security, privacy and compliance
\n\u25aa Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
\n\u25aa Support go-to-market, integration into customer\u2019s IT, and evolving customer needs
\n\u25aa Evaluate und drive strategic evolution toward AI architecture to enhance product value scalabilty, and
\noperational efficiency<\/p>\n

Your profile:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u25aa Experience in leading a SaaS development in a CTO function or equivalent role
\n\u25aa Strong technical foundations to lead and coach remote engineers and stakeholders (hands-on coding
\nis not required but an advantage)
\n\u25aa Knowledge and experience in API-architecture and integration
\n\u25aa Experience with BIM and construction-related software, with a solid understanding of the intersection
\nbetween real estate, construction, and measurement and reporting systems.
\n\u25aa Proven knowledge in managing and maintaining web-based CRM with data base for reusable mass
\ntimber component library
\n\u25aa Knowledge in construction, LCA\u2019s, carbon removals and MRV\u2019s procedures
\n\u25aa Track record working for startups or scale-ups
\n\u25aa Passion for CDRs, climate, impact, forests, timber construction, and innovation
\n\u25aa Self-reliance, hands-on mentality, entrepreneurial thinking in an international environment
\n\u25aa German and Englisch language skills, French nice to have
\n\u25aa Experience in AI-driven systems and architecture is a strong asset<\/p>\n
