With the new Financial Institutions Act (FINIG), all financial institutions will require a license from FINMA to carry out their professional activities as asset managers. Timber Finance Management AG will submit their application to the relevant licensing authorities for approval as an asset manager in January 2023. The future licensing status can be found on the homepage. The current investment advisory services are provided by our managing director Erik Reichmuth, who is registered in the BX Swiss advisor registry. Furthermore, Timber Finance Management AG is affiliated with the independent ombudsman’s office FINOS, which is recognized by FINMA. If possible, potential disputes and legal claims between clients and the financial institution shall be settled by the ombudsman’s office within the framework of a mediation procedure.
