Autumn 2025 Member Event: Visit to the “Im Zelg” Residential Development, Uster

On 13 November 2025, the Timber Finance Initiative invites its members, senior advisors and partners to visit the “Im Zelg” residential development in Uster – a pioneering example of modern timber construction.

The project was realized by Rhomberg Bau AG, Renggli AG, and our sister company TS3 AG. The TS3 technology enables two-way spanning timber slabs without visible beams – an important innovation for multi-storey timber construction.

Participants will gain exclusive insights into the project’s planning and implementation and learn how timber construction makes a measurable contribution to climate impact. In addition to exciting project insights, the event offers the opportunity for networking over a casual catering.

Travel & Practical Information
We recommend travelling by public transport. The residential development is about a 10-minute walk from Uster train station or can be reached by bus line 816 to the stop “Uster, Will” (2 minutes on foot).
For those arriving by car, parking spaces are available within a 5–10-minute walking distance.

The visit will take place partly on the construction site – sturdy footwear and warm clothing are recommended. Helmets and safety vests will be provided on site.
